When we look back at the history of Seeds of Hope, one of the most powerful aspects of our work in Jericho has been the teams that traveled from across the world to invest in our community and serve alongside our team. From home renovations and medical clinics, to summer camp and spa days—you’ve been part of the heartbeat of Seeds of Hope.
But your presence here was never just about projects. It was about people—showing up with love, joy, and a willingness to serve in both big and small ways. Together, we’ve seen Seeds of Hope grow in impact and influence, and witnessed countless individuals and families changed for the better.
This past year, as war has closed borders and complicated travel, we’ve felt your absence deeply. Locals still ask about “the friends from America,” or “the team that helped fix the school,” or “the ones who brought crafts for the kids.” Despite months or years between visits, we miss you more than you know.
But while we long for the day the country reopens and it’s easy to welcome teams again, we’ve learned not to stand still while we wait. Seeds of Hope continues to grow, leaning into local partnerships to meet real needs.
We recently opened the doors of our Cultural Center to a team from St. Joseph’s Hospital in Jerusalem to host a local eye clinic. With the borders closed, they were looking for a trusted local partner to help them offer checkups and diagnoses to people who can no longer travel to Jerusalem.
Just like our upcoming annual mobility clinic, this is another way that Seeds of Hope can connect people in our community to quality medical care that they wouldn’t otherwise have access to. For many, this clinic has become a lifeline.

We’ve also begun working with a local Young Life ministry in Nazareth. Two of their leaders are teaming up with us to support our team—one at the Cultural Center, training our “mini leaders,” and another helping at the school. Having these local believers come alongside us has been such an answer to prayer!
Despite the setbacks we continue to face, Seeds of Hope is moving forward because of God’s faithfulness—and yours. So many of you have stood in the gap left by travel restrictions, and your prayers and generosity continue to make an impact every single day in Jericho.
To all of you who have served with us in the past: Thank you. You’ve helped lay the foundation of what Seeds of Hope is today. And to those of you praying about coming in the future, we can’t wait to welcome you back.
