As many of you prepare to send your children back to school this week, we’re eagerly anticipating the start of another year at the Seeds of Hope school. In just a few weeks, our teachers will return to set up their classrooms and prepare for our students.
If you’ve been following our story over the past few years, you know that last fall we completed our latest school expansion and chose to proceed with the majority of the work needed to add not just the 7th grade in the fall of 2024, but also the 8th grade this fall.
Thanks to your generosity, we were able to construct two additional classrooms and a teacher workroom on the second floor above our existing classrooms.
As a new year approaches, we’re thrilled to be welcoming eighth grade students to come back and continue their education at Seeds of Hope. And we’re not the only ones excited!
“As a mom of an 8th grader, I thank the Lord that Seeds of Hope is successfully opening the 8th grade,” shared Stevie Ghanim. Stevie is not only the Assistant Director of Seeds of Hope, but also a parent to five children who are growing up in our school.
“This ministry has come so far,” Stevie reflected. “And my daughter continues to grow along with it. I am beyond thankful.”
Stevie is just one of many parents who are grateful to watch their children grow up in a place like Seeds of Hope, where we aim to teach not just languages and mathematics, but core values, leadership, and what it means to invest in your community.
Every lesson taught, every question asked, and every moment of connection brings us closer to our vision of bringing lasting, generational change to our region—something that feels more important than ever right now.

Your generosity has already set us up so well to grow, but to be fully ready to welcome our new students this fall, we need help outfitting our new classrooms with the final supplies they need.
