This week marked the end of another incredible school year at Seeds of Hope!
From our new rising eighth-graders to our smallest PreK students, we are so proud of all that our children accomplished this year.
Kindergarten Graduation is always a highlight of the end-of-year celebrations. For weeks, the students prepare performances and presentations for their parents and families.
This year, Nathan Shaheen gave a speech on behalf of the Kindergarten class to represent their journey:
Nathan’s words perfectly sum up what we hope our school will be: a place where students are challenged with new adventures, supported by caring teachers, and build lasting friendships along the way.
We were also thrilled to be joined by a few special guests for the event. A team from Compassion Church in Savannah, Georgia, visited Jericho and got to witness this milestone event.
“It was such a joy to be a part of the graduation ceremony at Seeds of Hope,” said John-Mark Romans, Global Outreach Pastor at Compassion Church. “The students, teachers, and staff go above and beyond in every way. It’s our joy to support Seeds of Hope and the important work they are doing in Jericho.
Compassion Church was one of the many partners who were instrumental in our latest school expansion projects, so to have them back in Jericho to see the joy their investment has brought our students was incredibly special.
Just like our brave Kindergarteners, as we prepare for the summer and anticipate another year of growth for our school, we’re standing at the edge of a new adventure.
