If you’ve known Seeds of Hope for any time at all, you know how much we value and celebrate our teachers. At the beginning of the year, we shared a story about an incredibly impactful moment during our staff Christmas party.
Our Seeds of Hope team rallied around two teachers going through an exceptionally difficult season. The other staff and teachers offered encouragement and financial support to bless families who truly needed it, expecting nothing in return.
They didn’t know then that this generosity would eventually come full circle.
After reading that story and hearing the two women share, one of our incredible donors was moved to do something special for our teachers—not just for two of them, but for the whole team.
So, at our end-of-the-year luncheon, we surprised all our teachers with an incredible announcement: their children’s next semester of tuition at Seeds of Hope would be fully covered.

“The spirit of giving encourages more giving and kindness,” reflected Fuad Jaddou, Director of Community Outreach at Seeds of Hope. “When you plant goodness and kindness, it grows.”
And this is so true for our teachers. They pour their hearts into their work every day. They show up with love, creativity, and deep commitment to their students. And while no gift could ever fully repay that, this gesture let them know they are seen, appreciated, and loved.
The timing couldn’t have been better. With the war ongoing in our region, the economy is still suffering, and many are still out of work. This financial relief meant our teachers could breathe a little easier and redirect their limited resources toward other urgent needs.
For many of our teachers, being part of Seeds of Hope isn’t just about having a job. It’s about giving their own children a better future through this community. So when they heard the news, it wasn’t just helpful—it was overwhelming.
