Monday marked the first day of a new school year at Seeds of Hope. We were thrilled to welcome our students back to a new and improved school building—including our new seventh graders!
We’ve continued to grow our school by one grade each year to steadily expand our student body and keep our children at Seeds of Hope for as long as possible. This year, we have 372 children enrolled from daycare through seventh grade—the most in our history.
But even as we grow, we remain committed to our heart for students and creating a loving, positive environment for everyone.
“Good education is what you need for your children,” said Rabee Hamouda, whose daughter has attended Seeds of Hope from kindergarten to sixth grade. “To realize that the education piece is a small part of what this organization offers is a happy surprise for us as parents. The administration cares about the smallest details in the character of the staff, which is positively reflected in the students. They bring the happiness and general culture home.”

We were able to complete the school expansion in time for the new year thanks to the trust and relationships we’ve built with our construction partners and in the community. However, we are still working to pay off the expenses by December. We’re so grateful for your ongoing generosity that has brought us this far, and we would deeply appreciate any special financial gift you can give to help us fund the remaining construction costs.
“I am so grateful for the generosity of our donors, whose contributions have made our school expansion a reality,” said Jessica Baboun Hatter, Seeds of Hope’s Educational Program Headmaster. “In these times of growth, we see the hand of God guiding us, reminding us that with faith, even the most challenging times can lead to incredible blessings. We are thrilled to continue our mission, strengthened by the support of our community and the grace that has carried us this far.”
And despite the challenges of the past year, we have great hope and anticipation for this school year. We will never take for granted the opportunity to invest in the next generation of leaders, parents, and citizens. With your partnership, we continue to work to bring lasting, generational change to Jericho and beyond.
