NOTE TO ALL CAREGIVERS:

Please remember that you are only human. You need to take care of yourself, too. Take time out to just breathe and relax, even if it is only 15 minutes every day. You need that time for yourself. Try to remember in all that you do, your loved one needs you to stay healthy, so please don't run yourself down. Take the time to eat and get enough rest. And this is the hard one, try to maintain your sense of humor: It is God's gift to help you through the difficult times. Just remember,Take care of you!

PRAYER FOR CAREGIVERS

Dear God:
Please give the strength, to get through this day. It seems the load is getting too heavy. I don't know how long I can go on like this. Please God open my heart to Your understanding and fill my heart with patience and love. Slow me down Lord, help me to put things in order. I get so caught up in everything I have to do, I am going so fast, sometimes I can't think straight. My family counts on me to be strong and sometimes I have no strength left. I am putting all of this in Your Hands. I trust in You Lord, I know You will not abandon me. I am grateful for every day I have with my loved one. And I am learning to take ONE DAY AT A TIME, in Your time.
Amen
